We are delighted to welcome Cllr Pauline Barker as Mayor of Cwmaman Town Council for the 2026/27 municipal year.
The Council also welcomes Cllr Kevin Madge as Deputy Mayor for 2026/27.
During her year as Mayor, Cllr Barker hopes to focus on supporting the community, encouraging more children’s events and activities, and helping to strengthen community engagement across Cwmaman.
We wish the Mayor and Deputy Mayor every success for the year ahead as they represent the Council and the community of Cwmaman.

Rydym yn siomedig iawn i adrodd am ddigwyddiad pellach o fandaliaeth yn y gymuned leol.

Mae bin ym Mharc Penpound (Grenig) wedi cael ei dynnu o'r ddaear a'i ddifrodi.

Yn anffodus, mae achosion o fandaliaeth wedi cynyddu'n sylweddol yn ystod yr wythnosau diwethaf. Mae hyn yn creu difrod diangen yn ein cymuned ac yn arwain at wario a***n cyhoeddus ar atgyweiriadau ac amnewidiadau y gellir eu hosgoi.

Mae'r heddlu wedi cael gwybod.

Os bydd unrhyw un yn gweld gweithgaredd amheus, fandaliaeth neu ddifrod yn yr ardal, rhowch wybod i Gyngor Tref Cwmaman. Dylid hefyd adrodd am unrhyw weithgaredd troseddol yn uniongyrchol i'r heddlu.

Diolch i bawb sy'n ein helpu i ofalu am ein cymuned.

We are very disappointed to report a further incident of vandalism in the community.

A bin in Penpound (Grenig) Park has been removed from the ground and damaged.

Unfortunately, incidents of vandalism have increased significantly in recent weeks. This is creating unnecessary damage in our community and resulting in public money being spent on avoidable repairs and replacements.

The police have been informed.

If anyone sees suspicious activity, vandalism or damage in the area, please let Cwmaman Town Council know. Any criminal activity should also be reported directly to the police.

Thank you to everyone who helps us look after our community spaces.
