Members of Sfrs Community Action Team paid a visit to Loch Doon today to engage with members of the public regarding the dangers of wildfires.

There is a very high risk of wildfire in these areas until Sunday, 26 April.

Wildfires have the potential to destroy property, landscapes and wildlife. All it takes is one spark to spread, causing a large amount of damage.

Remember, there’s no such thing as a 'harmless' fire.

If you live or work locally and want to make a difference in your community, get in touch with our page or come along on a Tuesday night from 6:30pm till 9:30pm and ask some questions of what’s required to become a firefighter.
