🏳️‍🌈 Joined Medway Pride celebrations with Medway Labour

🌹 Campaigned in Gillingham North and supported Medway Labour & Co-op Group colleagues on Super Saturday canvassing sessions

🚌 Supported a month of free bus travel for under 15s

🪩 Attended a fundraiser at Twydall Labour Club

🧩 Spoke at Children’s Committee about my concerns with further delays on NHS Right to Choose pathways for children awaiting diagnosis for ADHD and Autism

🧠 Was invited to attend the Health Committee in my capacity as Vice Chair of Children’s Committee. Emphasised the devastating impacts of people not receiving the right support for neurodiversity

🧩 Neurodiverse children in Medway should be able to access the support they need as soon as possible

🏥 We are all too aware of NHS waiting lists, which is why Right to Choose pathways are so valuable to families across Medway

⏳ Residents have written to me sharing their experiences of having the Right to Choose paused and restricted, causing further months of delays for their children to get the support they need

♥️ We only get one childhood, and every week, month, or year of delay has a real impact on a child’s school and home life

🗣️ That’s why I questioned the ICB at Children’s Committee, sharing my personal experiences and advocating for Medway residents to receive the right support as soon as possible

🌹 I’ll continue to press for answers and to stand up for Medway children and their families

Gillingham North Councillors will be hosting our monthly surgery tomorrow from 12-1.30pm in the Community Cafe at the Sunlight Centre ☕️
