Baby Sensory Medway Award winning Baby Development Classes throughout Medway. Many of these activities are set to our own Baby Sensory music which is available on CD.

Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of sensory development activities that are great fun for parents and babies to share in the vital first year. Baby Sensory is the only Baby Development programme with classes specifically designed for babies from birth. Baby Sensory classes provide hundreds of simple activities that are fun for babies from birth to 13 months. Our baby classes include baby acti

vities ranging from signing to fibre optic light shows, amazing light balls, bubbles and bells; there is always something different. What is really exciting about Baby Sensory is that it is an parent and baby group where many of the sensory materials and baby activities are unique to the programme. Each class includes seven different activities each week and a discovery play time, during which baby can enjoy our sensory play area whilst parents have the opportunity to meet. Our office hours are
Tuesday and Wednesday - 1:30pm to 3:00 pm and 8:00pm to 9:00pm
Thursday and Friday - 1:30pm to 3:00pm

For one first-time mum, Baby Sensory® was much more than a baby class. It gave her confidence, practical ideas, support and a community during some of life’s biggest moments — from navigating those early newborn days to welcoming a second baby and even staying connected through the challenges of the pandemic.

Baby Sensory® has supported thousands of families through similar journeys, creating opportunities to learn, play, connect and make precious memories together.

Since the very first Baby Sensory® class in 2003, thousands of babies around the world have enjoyed the gentle words and melody of ‘Say Hello to the Sun’ by Dr Lin Day. ☀️

At Baby Sensory®, this special song is part of every session — a familiar, calming moment that welcomes babies into class and creates magical memories for families week after week.

There is something truly special about this melody. Even the most restless babies are often instantly soothed by the simple words and calming tune, and many parents tell us their little ones continue singing it long into childhood.

☀️ Hello Instant Summer! ☀️

With temperatures set to soar this Bank Holiday weekend and into next week, now is the perfect time to think ahead and prepare for the warmer weather.

Babies and toddlers can be particularly sensitive to heat, but a few simple precautions can help keep them cool, comfortable and happy during the hottest days.

Some of our favourite tips:

💧 Keep little ones well hydrated throughout the day
💧 Dress babies and toddlers in lightweight, breathable clothing
💧 Keep rooms cool and well ventilated where possible
💧 Seek shade and avoid the strongest midday sun
💧 Enjoy water play to help little ones stay cool
💧 Avoid cold-water sponging – it can trigger shivering, making it harder for babies to cool down effectively

Class Cancellation – Monday

Due to unforeseen circumstances, tomorrow’s Baby Sensory class will unfortunately be cancelled.

This is never a decision we take lightly, and it is very rare for us to cancel a session

On this occasion, the circumstances are particularly difficult, and we truly appreciate your kindness and understanding.

All booked families will have also received an email and we will be in contact regarding a replacement session or refund.
