The 550 year-old Gawsworth Hall is a quintessential Cheshire manor, built in 1480.

The estate features one of England's few surviving Elizabethan tilting grounds (jousting arenas) and was the catalyst for a notorious 1712 double-fatal duel in London over an inheritance dispute.
