Promoted By Mark Thorn, Reform UK, Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank. I was elected as a Councillor for Northumberland Ward (Wallsend) on North Tyneside Council at age 21(Youngest in the UK at that time!)
with the largest majority of my party at that time. I was Chair of a number of Council Committe
es carrying out quasi-judicial functions and various public roles on policing & transport/Environment bodies. I was the only opposition member to be given such honour at that time. I am a former Gateshead Labour Party senior Executive member & Labour Group Observer. My former roles included: Campaigns Coordinator, Equalities officer and branch chair (Bridges). I have campaigned in every election, coordinated many campaigns and was founder & President of Northumbria Labour Students. I am tired of the people being constanly let down by the main parties. Failed policies on economy and border security. Our country is at breaking point!!! Our citizens fed up being second best in their own Country. I have been betrayed personally by Labour and the Country has also been betrayed by them with a "treasonous" Government. The people never voted for such outrage! I know how to organise & motivate volunteers. I can build an effective team and lead us to victory. I know how to structure an organisation to be effective and how to communicate within it. I know what roles are needed and what qualities are needed to effectively build an army of volunteers to fight & win in a ward/constituency. Sharing the right skills amongst a small group is effective and knowing how to target them, important. I know the tools that work in our communities through tried & tested methods and what content works locally and nationally and recognise trends. I know how to use social media as a tool for change. How to use various platforms to not only organise a team but how to reach the public. I know my community well and can speak publically at meetings or large crowds. Most of all I think on my feet and can answer questions confidently and professionally. Having been at the top of the Labour Party in Gateshead I know their strategy, their target wards and every one of the senior members personally. I know who and what they value and what they stand to lose. ReformUK says what most citizens think! They are not afraid to speak out on the issues that effect its citizens and neither am I. I want to see a ReformUK Government but I also want to see ReformUK win more councils. I believe we can win Gateshead Council next year and I pledge myself to undertake that task. I will satnd up and fight for our community of Gateshead. Whatever it takes to restore pride in our streets and communities. I am ready to help the ReformUK movement in the wider Gateshead area to win seats locally and build a strong foundation for success at the General Election. I want Britain proud and British, tolerant and accepting of other cultures as we have always been but OUR culture. I want our streets, women and children safe! I want a PM and Government who puts OUR citizens ahead of those enetring illegally and restore common sense to the people! I want a Council run by those who put our communities first, not themselves. People & Party before personalities! I want responsible spending and our communities thriving again. 2026 is an all-out election in Gateshead and WE WILL WIN THIS!!! ITS TIME FOR REAL CHANGE!!! WHOS WITH US ???????
