Back in December Firefighter Aaron Daubney completed a 16 mile - “Tabbed in the head”Yellow Belly cross-country run across the Lincolnshire Wolds wearing a BA set weighing 33lbs. He raised an amazing £280+ for Fire Fighters Charity

Gainsborough Crew met with West Lindsey District Council this morning at the river Trent following completion of works to refurbish the floating pontoon. This is used by craft visiting town and also ourselves to perform rescues on the river.

Thank you to everyone who came and visited us today at the Carwash and donated to the Firefighters Charity. A truely worthy charity which supports fire service personnel and their families.

Thank you to those who popped down to donate, without even a car to be washed.

Not everyone who helped make the day happen is pictured, but a massive thank you to all who picked up a sponge or hose today including our on-call firefighters and our fantastic fire cadets.

All of your efforts and everyones generosity is greatly appreciated.

Our Community Fire Safety Advocates and crews will be in the Apley Close area of Gainsborough today, speaking with residents about fire safety in the home.

This will include advice on smoke alarms, escape plans, and ways to prevent fires.
