12.06.2026 - Update
We are overwhelmed by the incredible response Gainsborough Town Council has received in just two weeks.
Your kindness well wishes and generosity have been truly heartwarming. 💖 Greg our Grounds Team Leader and his boys are so very grateful. 💖
Thanks to your amazing support, we have already raised £550.00 for Laybo's Legacy and £474.00 for Listening Ear. 💫
Can you help us reach our target of £1,000 for each charity by 27th June?
Knowing we've achieved our goal will inspire us and give our tired legs the motivation to keep going as we take on our 12-mile walk.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, brings us one step closer. Thank you for supporting these two wonderful causes. 💕

With huge appreciate- Gainsborough Town Council

Gainsborough Town Council is coming together on 27 June to support our colleague and friend, Greg, and his boys following the heartbreaking loss of his wife to su***de in June 2025.

To honour Greg’s wife’s memory, we are taking part in a 12 mile charity walk to raise funds for two charities that have provided invaluable support to Greg and his family during this devastating and difficult time — Laybo’s Legacy and Listening Ear.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help make a difference and support others facing similar challenges.

Please take a moment to click the link below and donate if you are able to:

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
