PICNIC IN THE PARK 2026 - RAIN DIDN'T STOP THE FUN!

🌦️🐾 PICNIC IN THE PARK 2026 – WHAT A DAY! 🐾🌦️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for Frodsham Town Council’s Picnic in the Park at Castle Park on Saturday! 💛

The weather may not have been quite what we ordered, but the rain certainly didn’t stop the fun! ☔️😄

There was plenty happening throughout the afternoon, including:

🎶 Live music from Mr & Misschief, 2AM and The Kitchen Party
🏃‍♀️ Fun sports games and challenges with Halton & Frodsham Harriers
🎪 Fete games with the Girl Guides
📚 A lovely Reading Corner provided by The Curious Cat Bookshop
🎨 Face painting
🏰 Bouncy castles
🐶 Our fantastic Fun Dog Show organised by Tail Mates and Bindi's Lost and Found Pets
🍔 Food and refreshments
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 And, most importantly, lots of people enjoying time together in the park!

📚 The Reading Corner from The Curious Cat Bookshop was a wonderful addition to the event, giving visitors the opportunity to take a little time out, browse some books and enjoy the magic of reading.

🐕 The Fun Dog Show was another particular highlight, with plenty of fabulous four-legged participants showing off their personalities and talents. There were lots of smiles - from both the dogs and their owners! 🏆❤️

Despite the showers, those who came along braved the weather, had a great time and helped create a wonderful community atmosphere.

Frodsham Town Council would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, provided activities, traded, organised and worked behind the scenes to make the afternoon possible.

And to everyone who turned up in their waterproofs and umbrellas… you’re our kind of people! ☔️😂

We hope you enjoyed Picnic in the Park 2026 as much as we did.
