I love watching bills disappear… yeah, they went thataway!! 🤣

Everyone has bills, right? Let me help you make them smaller – even make them disappear altogether. This is me at the company's conference in Telford over the last weekend. Lots of great things were announced; including the cheapest full fibre broadband deal in the country and up to five unlimited mobile sims for £23 a month for the first six months (£23 is for all five – after that, it's £23 for the first one + £10 for each sim after that). Also, our cheapest sim deal is £5 a month for 10gb of data.

And the best bit…? The company is giving you a cool £150 Cashback Card credit if you take three services with UW (three services could be energy and two sims – it's that simple).

I saw this newspaper in the Co-op the other day.

£200 a year? 🤣 I can do A LOT better than that… 🤦‍♀️(my 'record' saving in the last six years has been £2,000 in one year for a customer in Kinloss near Forres).

It's not actually that difficult to save a lot more, really. All it takes is a conversation with me. The quote itself would take about 20 minutes (if that). It might involve coffee and a chat. That bit might take a bit longer than 20 minutes. 😎

I spent a bit of time in Fochabers earlier today – working on a collaboration with one of my fave shops… more on that in the next couple of weeks (we're just finalising a few details)! 🥳

It was great to get out in that awesome purple-topped Mini of mine. While I was there, I had time to nip into Greenacres for a coffee (and spend time working on the flyer I'm producing for the collaboration – the joys of my graphic design business which works alongside UW).

I seem to be getting there a lot more lately for various reasons (I've recently enjoyed a few nights out in the Red Lion, including last weekend's Country Night!) and it's a great village. I've also got a stand booked for the upcoming Highland Games at Gordon Castle on the 17th of May. Look out for the purple gazebo!

Are you finding the cost of living impossible lately? Because of the events in the Middle East most utility companies have put their prices up massively or stopped offering fixed deals (European gas prices are up by 30% – Martin Lewis mentioned this morning in his post that most fixed deals have gone – except one…). Then there are the hidden price increases every April that get hidden in the small print for a lot of broadband deals.

I can help! I work with a company that started 30 years ago (yes, seriously – 1996). With me, you don’t have to call a call centre in Cape Town or India; you can talk to a real human being here in Forres (I’ve been in the town for six years now – I act as first point of contact on your behalf). I can talk you through your best options using accurate usage info and help you switch everything over (you don’t even need to talk to your old suppliers – UW does it all for you).

Also, the company doesn’t do sneaky price increases. They don’t need to.

In the last few days I’ve arranged fixed deals for people that beat Octopus and what’s more, the price I quote (which is already below the Ofgem price cap) will come down on the first of April by 7% – automatically.

There are a lot of things going on now – both in the rest of the world and locally – that are affecting people. A lot of people are finding their worlds changing for whatever reason. I notice that petrol prices are going up already – that’s a signal that energy prices will be going up again.

I want to help. The best way I can help is by enabling people to get their bills in order, giving them some security by offering a fixed rate with Utility Warehouse for energy that’s well below the April Price Cap (this can be re-fixed every year, so it’s not a one-hit wonder). I’ve got a rate for EV charging as well. Even though the April cap is going down, the next price cap will be based on what's happening now.

The energy market is already reacting to what’s happening in the world, I’ve noticed that OVO and E-on have stopped doing a fixed rate; Fuse Energy has increased theirs by £320 and Octopus has put theirs up by £100.

I don’t just deal with energy. With UW I can offer a great deal on broadband and mobile as well (and that makes the energy price even cheaper).

Plus, with me, you’re not having to deal with a call centre in some faraway place. I’m your first point of contact (even in the event of any queries).

Last week, I was able to help a Forres household save over £1,200 a year by going through their bills over coffee; even getting their early termination fees paid (up to £400) so they can move onto a better deal.

I'm sure that everyone's glad to be away from January (the longest month of the year with only three hundred days 🤣). At least February is the shortest month of the year.
