2515 Ringwood & Fordingbridge Squadron Air Cadets Welcome to the Facebook home of 2515 Ringwood and Fordingbridge Air Cadet Squadron.

At 2515 we give many opportunities ranging from Flying and Gliding to Shooting and the Duke of Edinburgh Award. We parade every Tuesday and Friday nights from 19:00- 21:30
As a Squadron we offer many opportunities such as Flying, Gliding, First aid, Shooting, Flight Suite, Sport, D of E, Annual Camps, Feildcraft, Night Exercises, Official Parades, Fundrais

We’re excited to invite you to a Girls in Aviation Day at the AirTanker Hub, RAF Brize Norton on Saturday 19 September and applications are now open!

On the day, you will:
✈️ Step inside a real aviation environment at the AirTanker Hub
✈️ Take part in hands-on activities and team challenges
✈️ Get closer to aircraft and explore how they work
✈️ Experience how flight planning and operations come together
✈️ See how different skills and interests link to real careers

Too many young people rule out careers before they have had the chance to see what they involve. Giving girls access to real environments and experiences helps change that.

More cadets were out living life adventurously this weekend with 3 cadets on their The Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition.

2 cadets were competing their Bronze expedition and Cdt Lloyd was out completing his final qualifying expedition for Silver!

What did you do during the EASTER Holidays? One of our NCOs deployed out to the first Gold Space Instructors course, where not only did she successfully complete the course enabling her to train cadets back on unit and across Hampshire and IOW Royal Air Force Air Cadets Wing the space syllabus. But she also took the opportunity to use the camp as her residential for her Gold The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Cpl Bartlett even managed to meet Commandant Air Cadets during the camp.

A very busy weekend for cadets.
This weekend saw 4 teams deploy out to the Hampshire and IOW Royal Air Force Air Cadets 5-a-side football competition. Where the girls team won GOLD 🥇 and all 3 boys teams doing well with Team Alpha making it through to a tough quarterfinal match! Even when not competing in the tournament the cadets were busy playing football just for fun!

Time to start planning for next years come back , with cadets (some brand new to football) keen to do more football back on unit. Luckily with the support from the New Forest Marathon grants we can inspire more participation in sports!

Last week saw FS Ringrose participate in the CVC Westminster Awards Selection week (stage 3). A great week showcasing leadership, resilience, and teamwork.

The Westminster Award is an annual competition designed to recognise and reward the most deserving cadets who have completed a Cadet Vocational College course.
This is a multi stage competition, and so far FS Ringrose has completed the Stage 1 nomination and sift stage, Stage 2 ILM qualification, and this week away was Stage 3 where only 32 cadets from across all the cadet forces come together to compete to carry on to expedition and the final award phases. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Well done amazing achievement so far!
