Folkestone Town Council would like to apologise as the warrior rope swing at George Gurr Crescent is currently out of use. The swing has suffered some criminal damage so severe it could have caused serious damage to a person or even death. The swings legs have been sawn at the base, looking like an attempt to cause the unit to collapse whilst in use, the damage has seriously impacted the swings structural integrity. The swing is currently fenced off and an investigation is being conducted. If anyone has any information about the damage that has occurred. Please call the Town Council on 01303 257946.
