Wear Bay Road Play Park Redevopment is currently a small committee of parents and volunteers who are working with F&HDC to try and redevelop the existing facility.

Hello. We haven't forgotten our pledge for a new playground. Things are so hard at the moment but we hope you are all keeping safe by not using the playground facilities as hard as that is for many of us. We are working at home to try and secure future funding. Please like and share this page to help get the message out that we need people who can help us...are you a bid writer? are you an events manager? do you know how to work with contractors? can you write minutes? We are looking for all sorts of local people to join us. Please spread the word and get in touch via facebook.

It's a bright morning here on the East Cliff, wouldn't it be great if we had a play park to reflect our area! bright, fresh,fun
and engaging but most of all somewhere for all of our children to spend endless hours outside playing. That's our ambition and if it's yours too then why not come and get involved? Next meeting is 24th March. Time and venue TBC. Please like and share this page :0

This is a new page in place of the old 'Jocks Pitch' as many families are unaware of the name of the field (I always found it a bit of an odd one!) please like and share...but most of all please get involved if you want to save this playground and help to transform it into something wonderful for all the families in the East Cliff area :)
