🌊 Fleetwood Nautical Campus at Maritime Futures – Liverpool

It was fantastic to be part of the Maritime Heritage Maritime Futures event, a brilliant showcase of innovation, creativity and opportunity across the maritime sector.

Bringing together several hundred young people, educators and industry professionals, the event highlighted the strength of the region’s maritime future pipeline. Taking place across the city, from the Museum of Liverpool to Duke’s Dock and aboard SS Daniel Adamson, it was a truly inspiring day of talks, demonstrations and hands-on activity.

Our cadets were inspired by the creativity and technical ability on display, including:
⚙️ Eco-friendly vessel designs in the challenge
💡 Engineering solutions, business ideas and heritage projects
🌱 Innovative thinking around sustainability, decarbonisation and ocean plastics

A highlight of the day was Fleetwood cadet Ross Cawood’s engaging talk, offering real insight into building a successful maritime career.

We’re proud to support events like this that connect education with industry and help shape the future maritime workforce.
