On Tuesday November 10, a statue (the only statue) of Mary Wollstonecraft was unveiled on Newington Green in Islington, London. My first thought is to try and get the statue removed, but it took 10 years of fundraising to get the £143,000 required to build the statue, and therefore our focus is going to be on getting a statue that honours and respects Wollstonecraft.
