Tonight, I had the honour of handing over to my worthy successor as Deputy Mayor, Cllr Simon Cable . I look forward to seeing all that he is going to achieve in 25/26, supporting newly re-elected Mayor Cllr Lawrence Wilson .

UPDATE: Your FPA Town Councillors have requested an item be added to the next FTC Full Council meeting in early May where a proposal will be discussed to explore any possible options with Dorset Council for the Town Council to offer funding for the continuation of the crossing patrol service.

FPA welcomes the latest U-Turn by the Government. We are all committed democrats, and reject the idea that the ballot box can be treated as though it were merely an option by any government or council. We are only ever in office through the expressed will of our electors, who grant us the privilege of serving them. All of those who sought to cancel or delay these elections should hang their heads in shame (they won't). We all await the judgement of the affected electors on May 7th.

What an amazing response from the British public to support our farmers, who are desperately trying to defend their livelihoods- and the nation's food supply chain.

Wow. ยฃ16,000 reached in 24 hours to help farmers who had their tractors seized by police on Wednesdayโ€™s London protest ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿšœ

What do you think? Should we allow adults to make their own life choices, or do we need the government to regulate everything and ban anything that they think we can't be trusted with?

Our FPA councillors are pleased that the plans for Victoria Road can now be shared. Yes, the wait has been frustrating for all of us. But our Councillors have been working hard throughout to deliver improvements that have been promised for almost a decade but never materialised under the previous administration- we're delivering on our promise.

Ferndown Town Council are excited to work in partnership with Dorset Council and Litter Free Dorset - Land, Coast & Sea to deliver improvements to Victoria Road, Ferndown.

Please follow the link to Dorset Council's website to view the proposed plans: https://www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/victoria-road-ferndown-improvements

Put the following dates in your diary and attend one of the public engagement events at the Barrington Centre to give your feedback on the improvements:

Tuesday 14 October from 2:30pm to 5:30pm

Monday 20 October from 4pm to 7pm

Thursday 30 October from 4pm to 7pm

Thursday 6 November from 9:30am - 12:30pm

A survey will open on Monday 13 October to Thursday 13 November for residents to submit their thoughts and preferences.

Complete the survey when it opens online or complete a paper copy, available from the Ferndown Town Council offices in the Barrington Centre.
