To be honest I do miss my County Councillor role -
However, it now allows me more freedom to analyse and highlight local issues .
As always, my thanks go out to all those that take the time to read my posts.
A turbulent 3 months - and much more ahead.
Thank you !

Felixstowe benefits from probably the best and most experienced parish/town clerk in Suffolk.
Good initiative.

🚫 Don’t save antibiotics for later.

Leftover antibiotics might seem useful if you start to feel poorly. However, they may not be the right treatment for what is making you feel poorly and using them incorrectly can increase antibiotic resistance.

Always:

✅ Finish your prescribed course
✅ Return unused medicines to your pharmacy

Using antibiotics properly helps keep them effective.

FINAL CALL FOR EXHIBITORS: NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK HEALTH AND CARE EXPO 2026

The very first Norfolk and Suffolk Health and Care Expo 2026 takes place on Friday 3 July 2026 at Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Appearing at Expo2026 will be Wildlife TV Presenter, Michaela Strachan and the day will also feature further keynote presentations, presentations and performances taking place across the entire site in Newmarket. This will be a significant event attracting a large number of delegates and featuring an extensive exhibition spread across six exhibition zones.

**We have only limited unallocated space remaining for exhibition stands and so I am writing to remind you that the final deadline to apply for exhibition space at Expo2026 is this Friday 12 June 2026. The application form is attached which should be completed and returned to Michelle Grant-Richardson at [email protected] who can also answer any queries you may have.**

Further information about Expo2026 is available HERE on a dedicated website Norfolk & Suffolk Health and Care Expo 2026 – including the link to book your places to attend or to contribute to the programme in other ways. Norfolk and Suffolk Health and Care Expo 2026 is a great way for you to connect with those interested in health and care across Norfolk and Suffolk. Attendance is absolutely free-of-charge and EVERYONE is welcome from across the NHS, social care, local government, the voluntary and community sector, educators and innovators and those who represent local residents and patients – but you must register in advance to attend.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Good to see they listened.

Good to see they listened.

We are proud to say that we now have our own NHS App Ambassador within the surgery. We have listened to our patients and they have told us that a named person at the surgery to assist with questions regarding the NHS APP would be really helpful. April who is also our Advanced Prescribing Clerk is now available to patients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you have any problems accessing the App or need help understanding it please feel free to ask for Aprils assistance.

Interesting.

Before the elections the County was split between those who thought One Suffolk would be best for the future of Suffolk due to cost savings - and those- who supported three unitary authorities because they thought it would give them closer contact to those in charge.
Now we have totally new people running the county, the majority having had no input into the decision, siding with the one Suffolk concept and contesting the government's decision.

Wonder if those who were originally against one Suffolk and voted Reform have changed their minds on LGR now that RUK are looking to turn over the government's decision?

"Shocking and quite frankly embarrassing"
