Fabulous Fawley Village Summer Fete 🥳 ☀️🥰😊

I have had a lovely day volunteering with the Fawley Events Committee at Fawley Village Summer Fete. This is the fete’s 2nd year and this year it was bigger and better than before 👍 we had lots of lovely local stalls and charities for everyone to enjoy plus kids games.

My task this year was Splat the Rat 🐀 🫟 which was entertaining 🤣

It is so lovely to have such a great event in the village for everyone to enjoy. Fawley and its surrounding Parish is a beautiful place to live with a wealth of talent, friendship and community. Events like this really showcase it 👍🥰

Well done to everyone involved 👌
See you all next

Today marks the 82nd Anniversary of D-Day. The largest seaborne invasion in history and the operation which began the liberation of France and the rest of Western Europe. It laid the foundations for the Allied victory on the Western Front.

Thousands of brave young Allied soldiers never returned home. May we never forget them and their sacrifice.

Lest We Forget 🇬🇧
