🏛️ This Saturday – final Open Day for this stage of the Old Town Warehouse project

This Saturday 12 September is your last opportunity during this stage of the consultation to step inside the Old Town Warehouse, view the emerging proposals and share your thoughts with the project team.

From 10.00am to 2.00pm, the magnificent first floor of this Grade II* listed building will be open to visitors.

🏛️ Guildhall Renovation Project gets underway!
We’re delighted to announce that the Guildhall Renovation Project has officially started, with scaffolders on site today beginning the build of the scaffolding around this important historic building.
This is a significant milestone for Faversham Town Council and an important step towards ensuring that the Guildhall (Grade II*) is protected and preserved for future generations.
The Guildhall is one of Faversham’s most important historic buildings and a much-loved part of our town’s heritage. The Town Council is committed to investing in its future and carrying out the necessary repairs and refurbishment to ensure that this remarkable building can continue to play an important role in the life of Faversham.
The scaffolding going up today is the first visible sign of the project getting underway, and we’re looking forward to seeing the works progress over the coming weeks.
A big thank you to everyone who has helped get the project to this stage. We’ll keep you updated as the work progresses. 👷‍♂️🏛️

On Monday 24th August Cllr Charles Gibson, Faversham Town Council’s Armed Forces Champion was delighted to attend the Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast club at Judds Folly.
