What a day that has been, the rain kept it's promise and i love having a outside job we have had 22mm so far but the good news is it does look to clear and around 16.00 the dry into the evening

A mixed few days with lower pressure moving in at times, bringing strengthened wind and rain, particularly in the North and West. We will see quite a bit today, but then the rest of the week looks mainly dry
In between systems, Higher pressure will build, settling down the weather a cooler feel for a few days, but warm air wafts back in from the Southwest by the end of the week and over the weekend bring a late summer feel

Tomorrow looks to be a very wet day. The rain will move towards us through the early hours, and from dawn and through most of the day things look to be very wet and not clearing until late afternoon

An autumnal feel to the weather pattern at times, with low-pressure systems moving in from the Atlantic to bring spells of wind and rain to the North
But we stay mainly dry, with warm and humid air being drawn up from the South, keeping a late summer feel, with today being a notably warm and muggy day
