Welcome to Faversham Pools

Come and pay us a visit where you can swim in our Indoor Pools (all year round) and Outdoor Pools (from May to September). The Outdoor Pool was originally opened in 1964 with the Indoor Pools and Outdoor Fun Pool with Rapids opening in 1993. SUMMER TIME
Rapids are run every hour on the hour for 15min starting at 11am at weekends and during the school holidays. Diving boards are open from 11am till an hour before closing.

🎶 I’m swimming in the rain, just swimming in the rain… 🎶 ☔💦

Yesterday it was raincoats and puddles. Today it’s sunglasses and sunshine. Tomorrow? Who knows… it is Britain after all! 😄

One thing that doesn’t change is our amazing team. Whether it’s sunshine, showers, or all four seasons in one day, they’re here keeping the pools open and ready for you.

Unlike some outdoor pools, we don’t hide away when a cloud appears. June rain is still warm, the water’s still heated, and there’s something quite special about a swim while the rain falls around you ☀️☔🌊

So if you’ve been waiting for “perfect” weather, this is your reminder that swimming weather comes in all forms!

After an incredible 33 years, we have some bittersweet news to share 🫶

Our lovely Linda is stepping down from her role as Lesson Coordinator at the pools. Over the past three decades, she has helped shape the swimming journeys of countless children, supported generations of families, and worked alongside so many staff members. The stories, memories, challenges, achievements, and laughs along the way would be enough to fill a book! 🤣

The good news is that Linda isn't going far. She will be continuing as one of our swimming teachers, so she'll still be in the water doing what she loves most – teaching and inspiring children to swim 🏊

Everyone at the pools would like to thank Linda for her dedication, hard work, passion, and commitment over the last 33 years. Her contribution has been truly remarkable, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done.

One small request... please don't stop her in the street to ask about your child's breaststroke legs anymore! 😄

Just a heads up that there will be some changes to our outdoor pool opening hours this weekend due to the annual Water Polo Gala 💦

Outdoor pools close to the public at 3pm

📅 Sunday 31st May
Outdoor pools open to the public from 12pm
(Indoor pool open as normal in the morning)

Half term is nearly here and so are longer outdoor pool days ☀️💦

From 23rd May, our outdoor pools will be open until 6pm at weekends, giving you even more time to enjoy the sunshine and make the most of the water 🌊

The rapids and outdoor pool will also be open throughout the half term week for everyone to enjoy 😄

Fingers crossed for plenty of sunshine… we can’t wait for a busy half term at the pools! 🌞💙

It’s always busy, always full of laughs, and honestly brings such a good atmosphere to the pool every week.

Just a reminder for anyone visiting us this weekend 🚧💦

The Faversham Transport Festival is taking place this weekend, so there will be road closures around the town centre between 7am and 5pm.

The pool will still be open as normal, including the outdoor pool and rapids, but please allow extra time for your journey as access and parking may be busier than usual.

Central Car Park will remain open 🚗

This Saturday (16th May) will be our last Saturday inflatable fun session until September 💦😄

With the outdoor pools opening fully from 23rd May, we’ll soon be switching into summer mode ☀️🌊

So if your kids love the inflatables, this weekend is your last chance before they take a break for the summer season.

As always, sessions remain weather dependant and we’ll keep everyone updated if anything changes.
