What draws you to the Titanic?

What draws you to the Titanic?

For some it's the ship herself. For others it's the people who sailed on her, and how close to home their stories can turn out to be.

This autumn the Titanic exhibition comes to Farnborough, and as Rushmoor Heritage Festival gets under way (11-20 September) we're marking it too, alongside Rushmoor Borough Council, by remembering two local men who were aboard: a butcher who lived in Farnborough, and a steward of just fourteen from Aldershot. We'll share their stories over the coming days.

First, though, we'd love to hear from you. What pulls you to the Titanic - the ship, the history, a connection of your own? Tell us in the comments.

The Titanic exhibition opens at Farnborough International on 23 October. titanictickets.com/farnborough
