👶🌟 First Words Together is a friendly, free 5-week course delivered in your local library, designed for parents, carers, and their little ones aged 6 to 30 months. 👶🌟

Enjoy quality time together while discovering simple tips to support your child's early communication.

Each weekly session includes:

📖 Stories and rhymes
💬 Practical communication tips you can try at home
🧸 Fun play-based activities to help your baby build early language and attention skills
💛 A welcoming library space with staff who understand early years and family learning
🤝 Opportunities to meet other parents and carers, in a warm, supportive environment

This FREE course is aimed at adults who would like to develop their digital skills in a small, supportive group with the help from an experienced tutor. Lion has got his sticker book ready for this week's Booktrust Storytime session :)

Join us at Fareham Library this Friday at 2 pm to share 'Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry', by Michelle Robinson and Jez Tuya and to collect your sticker for your sticker book.

Our New Parents Meet & Connect group takes place at Fareham Library every Thursday from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

These free drop-in sessions are designed for parents and carers with newborn babies and children up to crawling age. It's a great opportunity to meet other local families, share experiences, build friendships, and enjoy quality time with your little one.

Gain the skills and confidence to provide emergency first aid when someone becomes ill or injured.

✅ One-day, instructor-led course

✅ No theory exams, practical assessments only

The course is free to attend (eligibility criteria applies). If you would like a certificate, there is a £30 fee payable directly to the tutor on the day.
