🚗 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY – COMMUNITY SPEED WATCH CO-ORDINATOR NEEDED 🚗

The Parish Council is looking for a volunteer to act as Community Speed Watch Co-ordinator.

Speeding has been raised as a concern by residents, and Community Speed Watch is a proactive way for our community to work alongside the Police to help tackle the issue.

The role would involve:
• Organising and supporting local Speed Watch sessions
• Liaising with Devon & Cornwall Police
• Coordinating volunteers and rotas
• Ensuring equipment is stored and maintained
• Submitting session records

You don’t need previous experience as training and support will be provided. We are simply looking for someone organised, community-minded, and willing to help make our parish safer.

🚧 Temporary Road Closure – Comfort Road, Mylor 🚧

Residents are advised that Comfort Road, Mylor will be temporarily closed to all traffic under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Section 14).

📍 Location: Comfort Road, Mylor Bridge
📅 Dates: 16 February 2026 to 20 February 2026

The closure has been approved by Cornwall Council and will be carried out by Kier on behalf of South West Water.

The contractor is responsible for signage and traffic management.
