🥳🏅 WE DID IT!!!! 🏅🥳

11 MILES COMPLETE! 🥾🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Team Polmont Playgroup has officially crossed the Edinburgh Kiltwalk finish line! 🎈🎈🎈

Four of us started… four of us finished… although we’re not making any promises about being able to walk tomorrow! 😂😂

There were lots of laughs, some sore feet, plenty of “are we nearly there yet?” moments and we have NEVER been happier to see a sign saying 1 MILE TO GO! 🤣

But we made it — 11 whole miles — and we’ve got the medals to prove it! 🏅💪

A MASSIVE thank you to everyone (individuals, businesses and a cat!! 🐈) who has sponsored us, shared our posts and sent us lovely messages today. ❤️ Every donation is going straight back into supporting Polmont Playgroup and our children and families.

Thank you Greggs for our Sausage rolls, Regis Banqueting for the Butter Chicken, and Macb for all the water stops, Lidl GB for all the sweeties!! Oh and Tunnock's for the Caramel wafers and Walkers Shortbread!

The legs are definitely starting to feel it 😂, but Team Polmont Playgroup is still smiling and marching on! 💪🎈

Just 5 miles to go in the sunshine ☀️ and every step is helping us raise vital funds for Polmont Playgroup and the children and families we support. ❤️

Tomorrow, Lia, Vanessa, Jenny and Martina—also known as Worst Pace Scenario—will be taking on the Edinburgh Kiltwalk to raise money for Polmont Playgroup! 💙

🔵 MIRIN HAS AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT… 🔵

Our littlest campaigner has been out checking on the Tesco Blue Tokens situation… and she has given it TWO BIG THUMBS UP! 👍👍😂💙

Mirin popped into Tesco to make sure Polmont Playgroup was still there — and, more importantly, to remind everyone where those little blue tokens need to go! 👀🔵
We’re currently part of the Tesco Stronger Starts Blue Token vote, raising funds for our Breakfast Club for Local Schools 🥞🍎🥣

Every token dropped into our section helps us get closer to funding healthy breakfasts for local children — and apparently Mirin takes her campaigning duties VERY seriously! 😂❤️

👕👖👟 HAVE A CLEAR-OUT & HELP POLMONT PLAYGROUP! 👜♻️💛

It’s time to raid those wardrobes, cupboards and drawers! 👀

We’re holding a Rag Bag fundraising collection on Monday 28th September, and we’d LOVE your help filling as many bags as possible! 🙌

We can collect:

👕 Clothes
👖 Trousers & jeans
🧥 Jackets & coats
👟 Shoes
👜 Handbags & bags
👛 Belts & accessories

♻️ It doesn’t need to be an official Rag Bag — ANY bag will do!

Our Playleaders will be handing out bags to parents at Playgroup over the next couple of weeks, so take one home, have a good clear-out and fill it up! 🥰

📍 Once your bag is ready, you can either:

➡️ Bring it into Polmont Playgroup
OR
➡️ Pop it straight into one of our Rag Bins in the car park

💰 Every bag helps raise funds for Polmont Playgroup, while also giving unwanted clothes and textiles another life instead of going to waste. 🌍♻️
