Polmont Playgroup A welcoming community hub in Brightons for babies, children and families.

We offer play sessions, classes, events, parties and hall hire—creating an inclusive place to play, learn, connect and belong. The aim of the group is to be the Playgroup of choice in our community and provide a much-loved Playgroup service to all children regardless of background or ability in the local community where we can learn and develop through play. While our vision is to advance the educ

a.on and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience, so that they take a constructive place in the community and to advance the educa.on of their parents and other appropriate persons. We also encourage community involvement in all of our fundraising activities, making them free of charge or affordable to ensure inclusivity in the community.

A huge thank you to everyone in our wonderful community who donated clothing and textiles through our Rag Bag collection.
Together, you donated an amazing 212 kg, helping to give unwanted items a new life instead of sending them to landfill. The collection also raised £42.40 for Polmont Playgroup, which will support our work with local children and families.

Every bag really does make a difference—to our playgroup and to the environment. Thank you for getting involved! 💚

No obstacle too high. No token left behind. All means necessary to support Polmont Playgroup! 💪🤣

Clearly we need to add “creative problem solving and basic engineering” to our list of learning outcomes…

Our birthday parties are booking up fast — we already have an incredible 19 parties booked for 2027! 🥳

If you’re hoping to celebrate with us this year, these are our remaining weekend dates:

🎈 NOVEMBER
• Sunday 8th: 9am–1pm
• Saturday 14th: 1pm–5pm
• Saturday 21st: 1pm–5pm

🎈 DECEMBER
• Saturday 19th: 9-1pm
• Sunday 27th: 9-1pm

🎄 Our dates are also available for children’s Christmas parties, nursery celebrations, clubs and community groups! We have NEW Grinch and Olaf mascots AND a Sing-a-long Elsa

We may also be able to accommodate weekday, after-school and evening parties — please ask us about availability, we can squeeze you in.
