Welcome to Swim Like a Trout a Exeter based swim school run by Richard Trout a leading ASA Swimming Teacher with over 15 years in the Business. Richard holds qualifications in the following:
ASA Full Teacher
ASA Parent & Child Teacher
RLSS - Lifeguard Trainer / Assessor
DC Leisure Management - Health and Safety Training

Because of these Qualifications Richard provides a very safe and very friendl

y environment to teach swimming to any level of ability. With experience with disabilities and vulnerable children Richard provides a friendly and exciting experience for all students. No Student is too challenging for Richard after many years in business he has vast techniques and approaches for dealing with students. Richard has been managing and teaching of swimming for the last 15 years. He has produced high quality swimmers for local swimming clubs including:-

Exeter City Swimming Club
Exmouth Swimming Club
Dawlish Warren Lifesaving Club
Exeter Water polo Club

He can also provide training for the Leisure industry in the Delivery of The National Pool Lifeguard qualification and has taught many professional lifeguards some who have gone on to make huge impacts to the safety of the public at there swimming pools. Richard is based at a Private facility in the heart of Devon at Clyst Hydon

Well I was delivered some Fantastic news by a former customer yesterday that her 2 sons made gold and silver at diving skills at Nationals!!
The fantastic effort from Freddie and Sidney is awesome and to have the pleasure to see these boys achieve from all the hard work I put in with them is truly inspiring
( Also mum who really did trust me to get 2 very nervous boys swimming) !!!
