๐ŸšŒ๐Ÿš† Work to improve connections between bus and rail services at Barnstaple Railway Station will begin on Monday 14 September.

The improvements will include relocated bus stops, better waiting facilities, real-time passenger information, safer crossing points, wider footways and new cycle parking. Changes to the road layout will also make it easier and safer for people to move around the station.

Bus and rail services will continue to operate throughout the work, and no roads will be closed. Temporary traffic management will be needed at certain stages, and using part of the car park as a site compound will mean a small reduction in customer parking spaces.

The scheme is being delivered with Great Western Railway, Network Rail and other partners.

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšฒ The proposed Boniface Trail is moving into its next stage!

Specialist surveys will take place on the A377 between Crediton and Newton St Cyres from Monday 7 September to Wednesday 23 September. The information gathered will help us develop more detailed plans for the proposed 12km walking and cycling route between Crediton Railway Station and Exeter St Davidโ€™s.

Temporary traffic signals will be in use between the Tesco Superstore roundabout in Crediton and Newton St Cyres. The road will remain open, but delays are likely, so please allow extra time or consider an alternative route where possible.
