This session explores what really underpins successful early writing and why strong foundations matter more than rushing children to formal outcomes too soon.

Alistair will look at the links between movement, play, talk and mark making, alongside practical ways to engage children in meaningful writing opportunities across provision.

Full of ideas and research-informed practice, this session will help you support confident, capable young writers in developmentally appropriate ways.

This includes regular brushing and not having sugary food and drinks.

Healthy teeth are important because they help your child to eat, speak, and smile confidently. Milk teeth also help to hold space for the adult teeth that come later.

Early years and childcare providers - is your first aid training up to date?

This x12 hour course is consistent with the criteria set out in Annex A of the EYFS and will consist of:
✴ eLearning
✴ attending a one day skills session at a venue

Dates:
✴Tuesday 16th June 2026 (9.30am - 4.30pm) - Barnstaple
✴ Monday 22 June 2026 (9.30am - 4.30pm) - Broadclyst (Nr Exeter) NEW DATE!
