Exciting news for music lovers in Exeter

The Exeter Philharmonic Choir will be performing Handel’s Solomon at Exeter Cathedral on 14 March - and it’s all in support of the Lord Mayor of Exeter’s charity, Riding for the Disabled - Exeter Group. There’ll be a retiring collection on the night, so you can enjoy an incredible evening of music while backing a fantastic local cause.

They’ll also be singing at the Exeter Historic Guildhall on 18 April for a special afternoon of song and poetry, starting with a mayoral reception at 2pm. Expect a wonderful mix of choral favourites spanning 500 years.

Exeter will mark Holocaust Memorial Day on Tuesday 27 January with events across the city reflecting on this year’s theme: Bridging Generations.

From candle lighting at the Cathedral to powerful stories at The Mint Methodist Church Centre and the Exeter Historic Guildhall, it’s a day to remember, reflect and carry forward the lessons of the past.

All are welcome to join in honouring the victims of the Holocaust and other genocides - and to stand together against hate in all its forms.
