PLEASE, when you contact us to book your stay I endeavour to send you a site map & a set of directions/ information.
We allow campfire’s, we even provide fire pits free of charge.
We don’t have many rules, so please can someone tell me which bit is not understood in that information!!!!
BRING CLEAN WOOD, That doesn’t mean you’ve got to wash it it means NO BLOODY NAILS !!!
TAKE YOUR RUBBISH HOME WITH YOU, When you have packed up to leave, scour your pitch like you’ve lost diamonds on it !!!
IT IS NOT HARD, IT IS COMMON COURTESY!
We like being able to offer you choice so no set pitches, we like giving you privacy and freedom,
We are a working farm, livestock graze the meadows, the grass is grown for food.
Nails, Bottle Tops, tent pegs DO NOT GO WELL IN COWS FEET OR THEIR FOOD.
If a cow eats metal we have to shoot her!
If a cow stands on metal and it penetrates a foot we would probably end up shooting her!
Both of the above firstly causes pain, discomfort, stress and ultimately death.
DON’T BE THAT PERSON, RESPECT THE COUNTRYSIDE AND OUR FEW RULES.
The photo of the nails is from around 1 fire pit from 1 group of campers
The rubbish is a collection of 2 camps.
An edit of my post : We are a small site, at the moment we have 1 loo (more coming soon) if you choose to camp far away and choose to have a wild wee, put your used loo roll in your bin! Don’t be disgusting !
For all the fabulous one’s of you that leave no trace, thank you, we love having you stay.
For the ones that think it’s acceptable to leave rubbish and burn wood with nails in it. PLEASE DON’T BOTHER TO COME AGAIN.
