The final weeks of Summer Holiday Club! 🌞
There are still a few opportunities to join us before the summer holidays come to an end!

Our final weeks are packed with sport, creativity, cooking, music, team challenges and exciting trips, giving children plenty of opportunities to try something new, have fun and make memories with friends.

Our Week 5 Holiday Club is filling up fast, with Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th August now fully booked.

But there are still spaces available on:
🌟 Monday 17th August – Street Dance, team challenges, tote bag decorating & Jammie Dodgers
🌳 Wednesday 19th August – Climbing, Glow & Groove Silent Disco, brownies & drama
🥋 Friday 21st August – Karate workshop, Crystal Maze STEM challenge, scratch art & baking

Catch up on the final Headteacher’s Blog of this academic year!

This week’s blog is all about celebration. Mr Bishop catches up with pupils who have achieved fantastic sporting success, recognising their hard work, dedication and accomplishments.

We also say a fond farewell to our Year 6 pupils as they complete their primary school journey and prepare for the exciting adventure of secondary school. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and wish them every success for the future.

Our Holiday Club begins tomorrow at Westclyst Primary School and is open to children from all Cornerstone Academy Trust schools.

☂️ A Practically Perfect Performance of Mary Poppins! ☂️

What a fantastic way to end the school year! Last week, children from Years 4 and 5 at Monkerton Community Primary School joined forces with Year 6 pupils from Countess Wear Community School to bring the magic of Mary Poppins to life.

Performing to packed audiences, the cast wowed everyone with their confident acting, beautiful singing and energetic dancing. From the iconic songs to the unforgettable characters, every scene was filled with enthusiasm, talent and plenty of Mary Poppins charm.

The production was the result of months of hard work, commitment and rehearsal. The children demonstrated incredible teamwork, resilience and dedication throughout, and their performances were nothing short of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

A huge well done to all of the children involved and to the staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the production such a success. It was a wonderful celebration of creativity, collaboration and performance, and one that will be remembered for years to come.

We're looking for caring, enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistants to join our team this September across our Exeter schools.

If you enjoy working with children and would love a rewarding role that fits around family life, we'd love to hear from you.

As part of Cornerstone Academy Trust, you'll work alongside talented teachers, supporting pupils' learning, helping children grow in confidence and making a real difference every day.

We offer a range of working patterns to suit different lifestyles, including:
8.30am–3.30pm
8.00am–6.00pm
7.30am–6.00pm

All roles are five days per week, 40 weeks per year, with the option of year-round employment through our Holiday Club.

If you're passionate about helping children thrive- or know someone who might be- we'd love to hear from you.
