The Year 7 rounders teams were in great form after school on Tuesday against Chipping Campden. The A team won 20.5 - 15. Players of the match were Isla J for some outstanding fielding and Emma D for some big hitting. The B team won 17 - 11.5 and player of the match was Ffion W who had an excellent game at backstop and scored lots of rounders. Well done to all who played. It was a really fun fixture and the girls were able to showcase everything they have been working on in lessons and at rounders club.

We are all so proud of Jake (6B).

He was awarded the “Managers Player of the Season” for Sheppey Swifts U12’s on Saturday, Jake plays football with boys a year ahead in age of himself. The coaches commented on Jake’s all round team spirit, always talking with his team mates, encouraging and giving out instructions and ability to read the game, how solid he is at the back and is never afraid to get stuck into a tackle! Well done, Jake. Keep this attitude up.

8 Year seven pupils were invited to ring the new bells (becoming campanologists) at St Mary's in Elmley Castle. They were fantastic representatives for BHA and enjoyed a morning of bell-ringing, exploring the church and being creative.

A group of Year 7 girls had a fantastic time at the South Worcestershire Girls Can event at Evesham Leisure Centre on Tuesday afternoon. We all (Miss Barber included) took part in Pilates, body conditioning, Zumba and experienced a meditation session with a sound bath. It was a very memorable afternoon and the girls had a lot of fun.

The Year 6 athletics team enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of competition at Bowbrook on Monday. The focus was on participation and trying hard - many pupils took part in a field event for the very first time. There were some outstanding performances and lots of smiles. Well done to all who took part.

Bredon Year 8 boys attended a Cricket festival this evening at TDMS. They played 3 games against Pershore, Bowbrook and our hosts, TDMS. Considering they were the youngest team by a distance, they represented themselves incredibly well.

The sun was out and it really felt like proper cricket weather and after a long wet winter it was a welcome change of pace! The evening comprised three short form games, where everyone batted and bowled, giving the whole team a chance to practise their skills in a competitive situation.

A great afternoon with many stand out wickets catches, run outs and sixes. (we'll gloss over the wides!)
