Epworth Town Council Official updates and news for Epworth Town Council The current Chair is Cllr Caroline Finch and the Vice Chair is Cllr Dave Woods.

Epworth Town Council is made up of nine Councillors and the full council meets on the first Tuesday of each month at the Imperial Hall (small hall) Epworth. Epworth Town Council manage the Cemetery, Chapel of Rest, The Queen Elizabeth 2nd Field (Kings Head Croft), the Closed Church Yard at St Andrews Church and a number of planters and benches that are positioned around the town. To enquire about the Cemetery, make suggestions or report problems please contact the Clerk.

The Council was pleased to give a grant of £400 towards the cost of 'Spirit of the Waters' - a new play about the turbulent history of the drainage of the Isle.

* There is a grand re-opening of the Imperial Hall on Friday, 19th June 2026, from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm, following the recent redecoration of the interior and exterior of the building, which the town council contributed £1,000 towards the cost of doing such work.

* Free tea and coffee, tombola, raffle and cake stall.

* Everybody is welcome to attend, so why not pop into the Imperial Hall on Chapel Street in Epworth on Friday to take a look at the new look!
