Had a wonderful morning at the Epsom Poetry Hub launch yesterday - we're very happy to be the newest member of the Surrey Poet Laureateship family. It was great to begin writing and analysing poetry with everyone who came along, including Mayor Lucie McIntyre, as well as discuss what brought them to the session and what poetry means to each of us.

If you'd like to be a part of our Poetry Hub at Epsom Library, the next session will take place on Wednesday 4th November from 10am-12noon, and then every other Wednesday after that at the same time. ✍📚

Read to the, read to the, read to the beat!

Over the summer, children got creative in the library, transforming everyday materials into their very own musical instruments. From drums to shakers, there was plenty of crafting, creativity and noise-making fun! 🎨✨

What was your favourite instrument to make?
