More than 50 people came together at GreenAcres, Epping Park for a powerful su***de awareness event focused on raising awareness, challenging stigma and encouraging compassionate conversations about mental health.

The event helped attendees feel more confident in supporting someone who may be struggling and highlighted the range of local support services available.

Together, we can help create a community where people feel able to talk openly and seek help when they need it.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today at our Stay Safe and Well this Winter event in Waltham Abbey.

We welcomed 100 attendees and 18 local providers for a fantastic day of advice, support and activities designed to help residents stay safe, healthy and connected this winter. The day began with an energising wake-and-shake session, followed by presentations, information stands, health advice and an interactive theatre performance highlighting the dangers of scams.

Thank you to all the organisations, volunteers and residents who made the event such a success. Together, we're building stronger and more connected communities.

🌟 Could £500 help a young talent take their next step?

Nominations are now open for our Creativity and Active Epping Forest Sports Awards 2027! 🎨🏃‍♀️🏆

We’re looking for inspirational young people aged 13 to 25 from across Epping Forest District who are developing their talent in creativity or sport.

Winners could receive up to £500 to help them develop their skills and pursue their ambitions.

Last year’s winners included talented runner Ben Tucker, who is using his award towards specialist training equipment and one-to-one coaching, and Vera Pimentel, who is developing her filmmaking and visual storytelling skills.
