Best Start Family Hubs are coming to Cambridgeshire this September!

From the week beginning 28 September, five Family Hubs will launch in Cambourne, Ely, Huntingdon, Wisbech and Cambridge.

Child and Family Centres will become Best Start Family Hubs, bringing trusted local services together with more support for families.

Best Start Family Hub – Ely

2.30pm - 4.30pm

🌿 Outdoor Adventures at Priory Woods 🌿

On Friday, we enjoyed a lovely morning of outdoor exploration, creativity and fun in Priory Woods.

The children explored natural materials, discovered minibeasts and made their own hedgehogs using playdough and cocktail sticks. They also enjoyed sharing books and playing musical instruments in the beautiful natural surroundings. 🦔🐞🎶

We finished the session with a woodland walk and scavenger hunt, searching for feathers, bugs, sticks, pinecones and other natural treasures. 🍂🔍

A wonderful morning of learning, playing and making special memories together in nature! 💚

📢 Gentle Reminder - Self Weighing Scales at Soham Child and Family Centre

Unfortunately, our self weigh scales at Soham Child and Family Centre are currently out of order and will not be available for use by parents and carers of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years until they have been repaired.

✅ Self weigh facilities remain available at: Ely and Littleport Child and Family Centres during our opening times.

✅We also have our Health Visitor Drop in Clinic on Tuesday 29th September, 1pm - 3pm at Soham, where you will be able to get your baby weighed.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will provide an update as soon as the Soham Child and Family Centre scales are back in working order.
