Join us for a fantastic Charity Cricket Match at Walton Park Cricket Club 🏏

Members of our YAA crew will be taking part in the action, and there'll be plenty of fun for all ages, so come along, show your support, and help make it a memorable day for a great cause.

📅 Sunday 14th June Doors open at 12 noon, cricket starts at 1 pm.
📍 Helicopter landing approx 2 pm (subject to operational requirements) - don’t miss your chance to see our aircraft up close!
💷 £5 entry with all proceeds supporting YAA (Kids go free)
🍔 BBQ food & drinks available all day

🚁 Volunteer Receptionist Opportunities 🚁

Want to help save lives every day? We're looking for a team of volunteers to help cover the reception desk at our Nostell Air Base, Mondays - Fridays, 9 am – 5 pm. The rota is flexible, and you don't need to commit to full days.

You'll support our team by greeting guests, assisting with admin tasks, and helping ensure our lifesaving service runs smoothly. Full training is provided.
If you're confident, organised, and enjoy meeting people, we'd love to hear from you!

⛰️ Final week to sign up for Hike4Helis! ⛰️🚁

On 20th June, YAA staff, crew and supporters will be take on the Hike4Helis - Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, raising vital funds to help keep Yorkshire Air Ambulance saving lives.

One of those taking part is our Events Co-ordinator, Kate, who has a very personal reason for lacing up her walking boots:

"Working for Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a real privilege, and every day I see the impact our team has across Yorkshire. Still, you never expect it to affect your own family.

"In February, my uncle suffered a medical emergency while driving and crashed his car, resulting in him needing specialist critical care from our crew. It brought home just how vital that care is and how lucky he was to have YAA there when he needed it most.

That's why I'm taking on Pen-y-ghent as part of the YAA team on 20th June and help keep this lifesaving service flying."

Our volunteers really do go above and beyond…quite literally! 💛✈️

YAA East volunteer Andy has announced his latest fundraising challenge - a daring wing walk taking place next week, on Friday 12 June 2026 at RAF Church Fenton.

Andy is no stranger to pushing himself for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Over the years, he’s taken on a Christmas Day dip in the North Sea and completed a 10,000ft skydive, all to help keep our helicopters and crews flying and saving lives across Yorkshire.

This time, he’s going even further - by being strapped to the top of an aircraft in flight!

We’re incredibly grateful for supporters like Andy. His commitment, energy, and sense of adventure help make our lifesaving work possible. 🚁
