We’re inviting young people aged 12–16 (Year 8–Year 11) and their parents/guardians to our upcoming Open Night.

The Air Cadets gives young people the chance to make new friends, build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills, and take part in some fantastic opportunities and activities.
Our Open Night is a chance to come along, meet our cadets and volunteer staff, see what we do and find out whether the Air Cadets could be for you.
No previous experience or connection to the RAF is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved!

✈️ Could you help inspire the next generation?
1932 (Blackhall) Squadron, Royal Air Force Air Cadets, is looking for new Adult Volunteers to join our team.
Volunteering with the Air Cadets is an opportunity to use your existing skills, develop new ones and, most importantly, make a genuine difference to young people in the local community.
You don’t need previous military experience. We’re looking for people from all backgrounds and professions who can bring enthusiasm, commitment and a willingness to get involved.
Whether your strengths are in leadership, coaching and mentoring, administration, aviation, STEM, sport, adventurous activities — or simply supporting young people to achieve more than they thought possible — there could be a place for you.
