Tomorrow (5th September) at 14:00, we'll be doing the first of our Mad Hatter themed crafts in preparation for the Coffee Morning on the 26th September! We'll be decorating paper plates in the theme of Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter.

Open to all ages, but under 8s please have an adult with you to help out! We'll keep a hold of the crafts so we can use them to decorate the library on the day of the coffee morning, but if you pop your name on your craft, you can pick it up and take home after the coffee morning!

A friendly reminder that we will be hosting our "Mad Hatter's Tea Party" themed Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning starting at 10:30 on Saturday 26th September! We will be hosting a Mad Hatter escape room for kids, biscuit and cupcake decorating, guess the amount of buttons in the jar, bring your own crazy cup/mug competition and a fancy dress competition.

If anyone would like to donate baking (both homemade and store-bought are fine) with the ingredients listed, we would be hugely grateful!

Additionally, we will be hosting some kids craft sessions on Saturday 5th, 12th and the 19th of September at 2pm. We will be making Mad Hatter themed crafts, which will be used to decorate the Library on the day of the coffee morning (you can put your name on your own creation and pick it up to take home at a later date!).

Please come along for our outdoor BookBug In the park session this Saturday 29th of August 2026 at 10:30 . Please meet at the library and if the weather is nice we will all head over to the local park beside Pentland Community Centre. If the weather is against us we will have it in Oxgangs Library as usual.
