Force Protection specialists providing security and protection to world-wide RAF deployments. Based in the centre of Edinburgh, 603 Squadron provides trained RAF Regiment and RAF Police personnel to augment RAF Force Protection units world-wide. The Squadron has deployed personnel to all major RAF deployments and presently has personnel deployed world-wide. Formed as a Light Bomber Squadron in 192

5, 603 Squadron fought in the Battle of Britain, Malta and elsewhere in World War Two Personnel are required to be fit and robust and are recruited from Scotland, Northern Ireland and the North of England.

As part of our 100 Year Commemorations, wreaths were laid on some of the graves of our fallen comrades in Edinburgh, Kilmarnock, Aberdeenshire, Dirleton as well as overseas in Malta and Noordwijk, Bergen op Zoom and Barendrecht in the Netherlands.

Our heartfelt thanks you to all those involved in this small tribute to those who have gone before.
