This week marks Blood Donor Week (8-14 June) which coincides with the build up to Scotlandās first World Cup match in 28 years.
To capture the moment and inspire action, the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service - SNBTS is rolling out the āYes Sir Iām a Donorā campaign throughout the tournament period.
Major football moments can impact donation levels ā following Scotlandās World Cup qualification match, blood donation attendance fell by over 20%. And with fewer than 2% of the population currently active donors, thereās an urgent need for more people to step forward.
