Over the past few years we have been delighted to have this group of artists visiting regularly to paint in our our lovely garden at Inveresk Lodge. We are therefore pleased to announce that approximately 30 of their paintings and drawings of the garden will be displayed in the glasshouse on the 19th and 20th September 2026. All of the art work will be for sale, with a percentage of any sales being donated to the National Trust for Scotland. We would be delighted to see you there.







Entrance to the garden is free for NTS members and for a small donation for non-members.

Today is World Bee Day and a chance to celebrate and raise awareness of the essential role that bees and other pollinators play in maintaining the health of the planet. We, as humans, depend on pollinators for our survival as they play a vital role in agriculture and food production. However, threats such as the indiscriminate use of pesticides and climate change are impacting the number and variety of bees and other pollinators.
Here at Inveresk Lodge Garden, we are delighted to provide a home for Hutch’s Honey Bees and we strive to provide a welcoming environment for them by planting pollinator friendly plants and by leaving sections of our gardens wild.
