Rainbows Pre-school are taking over from Happy Days Pre-School Fair Oak from 9th September!
I had a sneaky peak down at the Village Hall last week to view the new set-up that Rainbows Village Preschool will be operating.
I can safely say that their play and learning experiences will be as good as at Happy Days! Lots of thought and effort has gone into making this a wonderful preschool.

If you are thinking of registering your child - be quick, especially with the funding now available for children from 2 years old!
There is an open day on Thursday 5th September at The Village Hall, Shorts Road, Fair Oak from 9.30am to 11.30am for those of you interested in taking a look before term starts on 9th September.

Excited to see the progress being made at Fair Oak Village Hall as Rainbows Pre-school prepare for their new venture!
Happy Days has handed over the preschool to Rainbows who will be opening their doors to children from age 2 from September 2024.
The pre-school will be known as Rainbows Village Pre-school.

Happy Days Pre-School Fair Oak is looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to join us from January 2024.
Ideally the successful candidate will have some experience of working with preschool age children or a relevant level 2 or 3 qualification. However, consideration will be given to enthusiastic, dynamic individuals who are passionate about working with young children and are willing to train on the job.
Happy Days is based at The Village Hall in Fair Oak and has been established for over 20 years.
The post is for approximately 16 hours per week (plus holiday pay), from Tuesday to Friday morning including at least two 8.30am starts.

This week in preschool we have been showing our respect for Remembrance Day. It’s a hard concept for young children to grasp so we talked about some of our family that serve in the forces and we thought about our community and how we remember people by using poppies. We went on a poppy hunt in our village and found some wonderful things to reflect on. We made our own wreaths and poppies too. Our local community is very important to us at Happy Days and it’s important that the children have pride and a sense of belonging where they live too. 🌹

Spooky potions! Our children can’t get enough of the sensory play this week. We also provide non messy play for children who don’t like to be messy. Learning through the senses creates deeper more meaningful connections. So much learning happening here!
