Such a shame, Sarah has been a great help to me and my team. Our thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.

It is with the deepest sadness we tell you that our Water Manager Sarah Harris passed away last week due to cancer. Our thoughts are with Sarah’s husband John, family & friends at this sad time.

Sarah joined in 2005 & has been described as a “really lovely lady” who “always had a smile". John has expressed "how proud Sarah was to be part of Surrey Fire and Rescue Service".

Thank you Sarah.

Our department have assisted with a multi agency response to ensure customers and other agencies were not affected too much. We have also put in contingency plans to ensure we had water for firefighting in the need arose.

“All affected customers in & ******er have their usual water supplies, so we’ve closed our bottled water stations. We’ll continue to monitor our sites to check resilience & be satisfied it's back to normal. Thanks again for your patience & understanding this week......
