SEA Fire Coronavirus COVID-19 Policy March 2020
As responsible Fire Safety Consultants, we have created a Policy to try to protect the Health and Welfare of our Staff and our Customers.
With immediate effect we will follow all the latest information and advice from HM Government and experts by avoiding all person to person contact in order to try to minimise the spread of the virus. Our vehicles are equipped with alcohol basement hand sanitisers and surgical face masks, which will be used when necessary. Our Staff will wear Nitrile Gloves when on Customers premises and when carrying out their tasks, using sanitisers before entering and on leaving Customers premises. Should it become necessary, they will wear the face masks provided.
Should any of our Staff present any of the symptoms reported to be potentially signs of an Infection, they will immediately self isolate for a minimum of 7 days and, if necessary, 14 days. The initial signs are a sudden new dry cough, sneezing and/or a high temperature. If this should happen on Customers premises, they will immediately put on their face mask and advise our Customer, then leave and go home to self isolate.
All documentation will be sent electronically and enquires will be by phone or by text messages. If Appointments need to be delayed or changed, Customers will be advised as soon as possible in order that a new Appointment can be scheduled.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
