Open morning this Thursday 21st June.

Please pop in and see us between 10am and 12:30pm to view the latest equipment from Associated Optical as well as a selection of local support and advice providers.

🛠️ Defiant DIY Day 🦁

We're hosting a Community Action Day on Wednesday, May 27th and we would like to invite the local community to come volunteer and help with bits and bobs around our Inclusion Hub.

Running from 10:00am-2:00pm, we'll have jobs ranging from: Cleaning & Tidying, DIY, Maintenance and Gardening, all in hopes to get our Inclusion Hub ready for the busy summer months!

You are more than welcome to bring your own tools and equipment to aid with doing jobs but we'll also have some on hand.

This day is open for anyone to attend whether you have a profession in any of the jobs or just want to come down and help us out!

For those who come to help, a barbeque and soft drinks will be available free of charge.

This all takes place at our Inclusion Hub, which you can find at:

We are delighted to announced that we have won two awards at the annual UK Enterprise Awards 2026!

We are incredibly proud to be recognised at the national winners of the following awards:

🏆 Accessible Community Sport & Wellbeing Excellence Award 2026.

It means so much to see that the work we do is appreciated. We will continue to do our best to deliver inclusive, adaptable and welcoming provision to all who want to get involved.

We have been sent the following information regarding an exciting screening of this multi-award-winning film at the TOWNER, EASTBOURNE on Saturday April 18th, 2026 at 11:30 AM (BST).

'Touching Colours' is an amazing roller-coaster of a story about a young artist who goes blind, but miraculously over time, she regains her sight in the most incredible way. Based on a true story.

It is also an opportunity to see some great cinematography shot in and around Eastbourne.

This will be followed by an interesting Q & A with the writer/director to explore why , where and how the film was made and to meet the lead actors. Don’t miss out on this inspiring event!

This short film has been created by a local writer and director and they would like to show their work to as many people as possible.
