We are deeply disappointed to report that our playground equipment has recently been vandalised. The needed repairs for this equipment will be over £1500.

This space is intended to be a safe, enjoyable area for children and families, and it is disheartening to see it treated in this way.

As many of you know, we have been exploring options to introduce additional play equipment and outdoor exercise facilities to further enhance the village. However, in light of the recent damage, we must now carefully reconsider these plans. Investing in new equipment is difficult to justify if it cannot be protected for the benefit of everyone.

We would be grateful for any information that may help us understand when and why this damage occurred or who may have been involved. If you saw anything unusual or have any details that could assist, please get in touch in confidence. Your support helps us keep this space safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained for the community.
