The Club was very sad to hear of the passing of Vic Aldous, an Ex Chairman of the Shark Angling Club.
He always remembered fondly his time with the club and would often talk of his stint in the chair!
He was only half an hour away from his 100th Birthday.

The picture is him signing the contract for the Jack Daniels sponsorship of the Festival, which we think was 1992.

There will be a celebration of Hilary Cassons life at Riverside church at 3pm on Friday 23rd January. Then afterwards at the social club. Please come and give this amazing lady a massive send off 💜💙💜💙 🦈

Very sad to hear of the passing of past secretary and member of the club Hilary Casson. We have lost a true friend. She fought long and hard until the end and will be missed 😢.
