What a lovely first week back at the setting! 💛
We welcomed two new little ones to our childcare family this week, and they have both done so incredibly well. It’s always such a big step starting somewhere new, but they’ve settled in beautifully and it has been so lovely getting to know them, watching their personalities shine through and seeing those first little friendships begin to form. 🥰
I’m already looking forward to watching them learn, develop and grow over the coming months and being part of so many special little milestones along the way.
We’ve also had a really fun week getting back into the swing of our usual routines. We’ve been back to our groups, enjoying our outings and activities, and giving the children the chance to reconnect with their friends after the summer break.
There’s something lovely about getting back into our normal routine, familiar faces, familiar places and lots of happy little adventures together!
It’s been a busy but brilliant first week, and I’m so excited for everything this new term has in store. 🌈

Please can I remind everyone that September marks the start of the new term, which unfortunately also means lots of illnesses going around.
I don’t exclude children for an average cold, but I do ask that children stay at home if they have thick green snot or a high temperature.
Please be considerate when deciding whether to send your child in when they’re unwell. I have other children in my setting who may have lower immune systems, and I also have my own family living here.
Thank you for your understanding and for helping to keep everyone as well as possible.

Welcome back!
After a lovely summer break, we’re officially back and ready for another exciting year of fun, learning, exploring and making lots of lovely memories together.
A special welcome to all our new families who are joining us, we’re so pleased to have you as part of our little childminding family. We hope you and your little ones quickly feel settled, happy and at home with us.
And of course, welcome back to all our existing families. It’s so lovely to see everyone again and hear all about your adventures over the summer!
Here’s to a wonderful new year filled with messy play, adventures, laughter, friendships and lots of learning along the way. We can’t wait to see what the year brings!

After an amazing holiday, I’m feeling refreshed, excited and ready to get back to what I love! 💕

What a lovely way to end our three little leavers' time with us with one final exciting trip to Washbrooks Farm! 🐑🚜💚
We had so much fun exploring the farm, riding the ride-on bikes, playing in the soft play and meeting all the lovely animals.
Today was also our chance to say goodbye to three very special little ones. Watching you all grow, learn and flourish has been such a privilege, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of your early years journey. I'll miss each and every one of you so much, but I'm so excited to see what adventures await you next.
Wishing you all the very best as you begin your next chapter. You'll always be a part of our childminding family. ❤️

What a lovely week we've had! We've enjoyed lots of fun playing in the garden, had our final toddler group sessions of the term, and topped it all off with a trip to the theatre.
This week also marked an emotional milestone as we said goodbye to one of my little ones. You first joined me as a tiny 10-month-old baby, and now you're getting ready to start school in September. It has been such a privilege to watch you grow into the wonderful, confident little person you are today. I'll miss you so much and wish you every happiness on your next adventure. ❤️
Just one more working week until my summer holidays begin, and a few more special little people to say goodbye to before then. My heart definitely isn't ready! 😢💛

What a wonderful week we've had! 💛
We've packed the week full of fun with outings, exploring, playing, laughing and making lots of special memories together. Seeing the children's smiles and confidence grow is what makes this job so rewarding.
This week has also been a little emotional as we've said goodbye to some of our little ones who are moving on to their next adventures. It's been such a privilege to be part of their journey, watching them learn, grow and become the amazing little people they are today. They will all be so missed, but I'm incredibly proud of each and every one of them and wish them all the very best for the future.🥰

We had a lovely couple of days, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! ☀️🌿

This week we enjoyed trips to Tilgate Park and Mill Pond, as well as spending plenty of time at home playing in the garden. We spotted beautiful scenery, lots of ducks and geese, and even a heron!

The children had lots of fun developing their gross motor skills in the park, climbing, balancing and exploring, before enjoying a lovely walk around the ponds. It was a wonderful week full of fresh air, nature and adventure. 💚
