What a summer it has been so far at York Bird of Prey Centre! We honestly can’t thank every single one of you enough for your incredible support. ❤️

From welcoming new faces, seeing returning visitors, sharing unforgettable experiences and watching our birds continue to amaze you — it’s been a summer to remember!

And the exciting part? We’re only getting started! 👀

We have some BIG plans for the future, lots more exciting things in the pipeline and so much more we want to bring to the centre. 🦅✨

🦅 FURY’S FIRST FLIGHT! 🦅

What a moment! ❤️

Our newest member of the flying team, Fury the Albidus Goshawk, has taken to the skies for his FIRST EVER FLIGHT with us! 🎉

Watching him take those first confident flights was absolutely incredible, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds for this stunning young goshawk.

Fury is going to be a very special part of our team, and we’re sure he’s going to become a firm favourite with our visitors. 🥰🦅

🦅 A Very Warm Welcome to Fury! 🦅

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of the York Bird of Prey Centre family… Fury, our stunning Albidus Goshawk!

Fury will soon be joining our flying team, giving visitors the chance to witness the incredible speed, agility and power that make goshawks such remarkable birds of prey.

This is one display you definitely won’t want to miss! Keep your eyes on the skies during our flying demonstrations as Fury settles into the team – we’re so excited for you all to meet this magnificent bird.
